Intralesional Therapy

This minor procedure involves injecting a drug directly into the lesion site. This helps in faster action, better results and avoiding undue adverse effects on normal surrounding skin.

A variety of drugs eg: corticosteroids, bleomycin, 5FU,stibuguonate can be used. However corticosteroid intralesional therapy is widely practiced.
